Danish armchair (early version) with model name 'Albert' including footstool, both designed by Finn Ostergaard in the 1960s. The set was manufactured by Kvist Møbler.
 
This classic is a fine example of Scandinavian modern design where ergonomics and wood are paramount. The wavy wood follows the shapes of the body, making this chair very comfortable to sit on. The pillow for the neck provides excellent support.
 
The whole is in beautiful vintage condition with hardly any signs of wear. Over the years, there has only been a discoloration of the fabric where the cushion hangs. However, this is not visible when the cushion is in place.
