An absolute icon of Italian design and a masterpiece of the Artemide collection; the Tizio lamp. This one was in 1972 designed by Richard Sapper and manufactured by the world renownedArtemide.

 

When the lamp was launched it was revolutionary and there was nothing comparable on the market. extremely accurate. In the meantime, this timeless lamp has acquired cult status and has been awarded several awards, including the prestigious iF Design Award. She is therefore rightly a masterpiece of the Artemide collection!

 

Artemide celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Tizio with a special version in the designer's own favorite red. The lamp was never used and is therefore in new condition. Even the warranty card with date of purchase is still present.

 

Richard Sapper was a German industrial designer and one of the most important designers of his generation. He worked for several major brands such as Fiat and Pirelli. He also made designs for Alessi and IBM that have become historic.

Sapper's work can be found in the permanent collections of several museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum. His work has won him many awards.
