Swedish hanging lamp designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s.

This hanging lamp is made of rings in pine wood veneer. The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with and there is no crack anywhere to be seen. The cabling was renewed as well as the ceiling cap.

 
Swedish interior decorator and furniture designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was mainly active between the 1950s and 1970s, the golden age of Scandinavian design. 
Although he designed and produced various types of furniture, his lighting gained more international attention. He liked to experiment with a wide range of materials and (organic) shapes. As a result, he had a deep understanding of lighting effects which is evident in his many designs.
