Beautiful ceiling lamp from the 70s called 'Artichoke' of the famous brand Peill & Putzler. This lamp is made of sturdy opaline glass and spreads beautiful light.
Peill & son was founded in 1903 and merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947, continuing under the name 'Peill + Putzler Glashüttenwerke'. Throughout its existence, the company has collaborated with both important designers and other companies such as Raak Amsterdam and Massive. At its peak (1950s) about 1500 people worked for the company. In 2004, one year after their 100th anniversary, the company was unfortunately declared bankrupt.
