Beautiful ceiling lamp from 70s called 'Artichoke' from the famous brand Peill & Putzler.

 

This lamp is made of sturdy opaline glass and spreads beautiful light. The lamp is in beautiful condition.

 

Peill & son was founded in 1903 and merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947, continuing under the name 'Peill + Putzler Glashüttenwerke'. Throughout its history, the company has collaborated with important designers as well as other companies such as Raak Amsterdam and Massive. At its peak (1950s), around 1,500 people worked for the company. In 2004, a year after their 100th anniversary, the company unfortunately declared bankruptcy.
