Beautiful ceiling lamp from the 70s called ' Artichoke ' from the famous brand Peill & Putzler .
This lamp is made of sturdy opaline glass and spreads beautiful light. The lamp is in very nice condition. The original sticker of the manufacturer is present on the glass and the fitting as a sign of authenticity. The original instructions are also present.
Peill & zoon was founded in 1903 and merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947, continuing under the name 'Peill + Putzler Glashüttenwerke'. During its existence, the company has worked with both major designers and other companies such as Raak Amsterdam and Massive. At its peak (1950s), the company employed around 1,500 people. In 2004, a year after its 100th anniversary, the company was unfortunately declared bankrupt.
