Danish hanging lamp PH 4/3 designed by Poul Henningsen in 1966. The lamp was manufactured by the famous company Louis Poulsen. This lamp is one of the last lamps that Poul Henningsen designed before his death in 1967.

The hanging lamp spreads some of the light naturally through the multi-piece, creating a soft light.

The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with hardly any signs of use. The red cover plate that is often missing is still present. The previous owner did glue the metal plate at the top to the inside. The manufacturer's sticker is present as a sign of authenticity.

Poul Henningsen was a Danish writer, critic, architect and designer. He is often called the first real lighting architect because he devoted a large part of his life to researching the importance of light for well-being. He focused on creating lamps that produced glare-free lighting. His best-known lamp models are the PH Artichoke, the PH 5 and the PH Contrast lamp.
