Set of 2 Norwegian lounge seats with armrests called 'Siesta'. This was designed in 1965 by Ingmar Relling and became an instant success. The design rightly received (inter)national awards.
 
This set is in beautiful vintage condition and has no flaws anywhere. The high-quality, supple leather is in a brown color and has a beautiful light patina. Both seats still have the original manufacturer's label as a sign of authenticity.
 
The Siesta chair played an important role in the growth of the Norwegian furniture industry and its international success. The seat can rightly be declared a true international Norwegian icon.
