Very nice set of 4 chairs designed by Inger Klingenberg for Fristho. These chairs were manufactured in 1959 but have a timeless design.

The chairs are in beautiful condition.

Fristho was founded in 1920 and started mainly with the production of chairs and small furniture. The crisis in the 1930s hit the company hard. After the difficult reconstruction years, it was decided to make furniture that fit the 'mid-century modern' style. Both the American William Watting and the Danish Inger Klingenberg both made significant contributions as designers to the Scandinavian and contemporary design of the 1950s and 1960s.

Unfortunately, the company went bankrupt in April 1978, partly due to competition from the very modern German furniture factories.

Unfortunately, due to its size, weight and/or fragility, this item cannot be shipped
