Sputnik floor lamp from the 1970s with 18 light points. The 18 head mirror lamps (included in the price) provide a very atmospheric effect.
 
The floor lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. There are some light scratches on the pedestal (see photo) and here and there very light oxidation spots on the chrome that are hardly noticeable. 
 
The fascination for space and space travel was enormous at the time of the space race (late 1950s to mid-1970s). This translated into the design movement 'Space Age' which influenced architecture, movies & music, fashion, interior design, etc.
