Designer table lamp with model name 'Gilda' designed in 1993 by Silvia Capponi. This lamp was manufactured by the leading Italian company Artemide.
 
A plastic ball is clamped on top of the base with switch. This allows light to pass through and can be turned to regulate the light beam.  
 
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition.
