Vintage tripod table lamp from the 50s by Rotaflex. The lampshade is completely formed by hollow wire in plastic that provides a pleasant and typical mood light. This is mounted on an elegant tripod in wood.

The lamp is in good working condition and still has the original wiring, plug and switch.

Rotaflex was founded in 1953 by Bernard Stern who ensured that the company became one of the most prominent in Great Britain in just a few years. Rotaflex has received several awards including the coveted iF Design Award in 1957 for this type of pendant lamp.

The type of plastic used to manufacture the lamp was invented by Rotaflex in collaboration with the French company ARP – L' Atelier de Recherche Plastique. The ARP was founded in 1954 by Pierre Guariche, Michel Mortier & Joseph-André Motte and ceased operations just 3 years later.
