French floor lamp with pleated lampshades from the 1950s. 
 
The original sockets with bayonet fitting were replaced by sockets with E27 fitting. The lamp also received a switch so that it can be easily switched on and off. Furthermore, the lamp has some signs of wear that are typical for its age. The red shade has a tear in the plissé (see photo) and the yellow shade has some signs of wear at the top edge. However, these traces are not disturbing and the lamp can certainly be used for years to come.
