Beautiful wall cabinet designed in the 1950s by AA Patijn for Zijlstra Joure. This sideboard with beautiful curves is part of his famous Poly-Z line. 
 
AA Patijn loved minimalist elegance, which gives his designs a timeless character. This wall cabinet also has the well-known Patijn characteristics; the graceful legs and handles with brass, the ribbed finish and the beautiful warm color of wood.
The floor caps are also adjustable in height, so that the cabinet is still nicely stable on an uneven surface.
 
The cabinet has signs of wear that match its age. At the top, a little bit of veneer has disappeared in 2 places (see photos), but this is hardly noticeable.
 
This cabinet is a wonderful example of Dutch design from the fifties.
